At the same time, you should also trim its nails first, so as to prevent the dog from scratching you during the bath.
After combing the hair and cutting the toenails, bath water should be prepared for the exposed bear dog. The bathing water temperature is generally kept around 42 degrees. Of course, in summer, the bathing water should be appropriately lowered, while in winter the bathing water temperature should still be appropriately high.
When bathing, first wet the dog’s body with clean water, then apply some pet shampoo, and gently rub the dog’s body with both hands. Note that when rubbing sensitive parts such as the head, chest, abdomen, etc., the movements must be gentle and do not hurt the dog. In addition, the dog’s toenails, buttocks, and tail must be thoroughly cleaned. At the same time, do not get the bath water into the eyes and ears of the exposed bear dog to avoid irritating it.
After the rubbing is completed, clean the pet dog’s body completely with clean water. Then use a towel to wipe off the water, and then use a hair dryer to blow all the wet coat of the bear dog.
When helping a dog to bathe, be careful. The head should be scrubbed first and then cleaned. Due to the bear’s large size, it is not necessary to help it bathe frequently. Generally, it is enough to do it once every two weeks. Take a warm towel and wipe it at normal times to keep it dry.
