Cane Corso, originally produced in Sicily, Italy, originated in the 17th century and is an improved breed of the ancient Italian Mastiff with more than 2,000 years of experience. This improved giant bulldog had never paid attention to the existence of the Italian mainland in the past, but was bred in Sicily. They were used to drive cattle to the slaughterhouse in the past and would actively participate in canine battles.
