Rainbow Flying Lizard
The body color of the Rainbow Flying Lizard at night is There is no conspicuous gray color, but when the sun shines on the rainbow flying lizards, their body temperature changes, and their body color changes to a bright and very vivid color.
The characteristic of the Rainbow Flying Lizard is that it has a white underbelly, dark brown hind legs and tail, with a thin translucent stripe to the center and 6 to 7 dark spots to one side of the stripe. There are some male-female heterogeneous species. Secondary males, females, and juveniles have an olive green head. A blue body and yellow tail and head are the characteristics of a male occupying a dominant position. The rainbow lizard has a large head, a long tail, well-developed external ear holes and eyelids. This lizard also has side teeth and does not have the typical teeth. The maximum length is 25 cm for male lizards and 20 cm for females (Harris 1964).
